The GBA is the largest "girls only" tournament association in the Midwest, in which hundreds of basketball teams compete. In 2007, 120 teams played, in 9 weekends in a row, while in 2008, the event offered 11 fun-filled weekends in a row, giving the teams a chance to do what they love most, which is to play basketball, all spring and summer long. In 2009, the event was held at the BGSU campus, and happened in April.
